What we do

Training that puts your team in the water

Didactic training and certification per the California State Fire Marshal's Office, delivered by instructors with decades of experience teaching in the public and private sectors. We place a premium on developing the proper mindset of an ocean rescue swimmer, and we maximize water time.

Our approach

Your department. Your protocols. Your class.

"Our goal is to never show up to another agency with the intention of 'we're here and this is how it's done.'"

We're dealing with the ocean and her many moods, and she always has the final say. No two agencies work the same water, and nobody knows your jurisdiction like the people who patrol it. We bring decades of ocean rescue instruction and a proven State Fire Marshal curriculum. You bring your coastline, your personnel, your SOGs and SOPs. The strongest course comes from putting the two together.

Instead, we work with you to develop the course within your area of influence, using your equipment, tactics and strategies to accomplish your mission safely. You essentially build your own class with us. We administer it and make sure every box the State wants is checked along the way.

  • Built around your SOGs, SOPs and radio frequencies
  • Practical scenarios run multiple times, through multiple iterations
  • Your mutual-aid partners and your place in that system
  • Delivered at your location, or hosted on the Ventura coastline
